Pet Portrait Photo Guidelines

You can capture a great photo with a smart phone! The best portraits are created from clear, well-lit, focused images. The more clarity I can see in your photo, the more I can include in the artwork. Here are some quick guidelines to help you take or choose the optimal photo for your project.

Your photo is clear and well-lit.

Natural lighting is optimal. The ideal photo is not blurry or taken in darker places. It is not filtered or edited.

You aren’t zooming in, screenshotting, or cropping your photo.

These features lower photo quality. Submit photos in their full, original sizes. Here is the same photo submitted in original size versus small size.
